Why Motability and Rough Guides?
Motability 
leases cars to over half a million disabled people in the UK. We wanted to share inspiring advice and information to help people make the most of their days out, and Rough Guides was an obvious choice as their mantra is to ‘make the most of your time on Earth’.
The third edition of the Rough Guide to Accessible Britain offers disabled people a fantastic resource with which to be confident in enjoying more of the UK’s top attractions, events and destinations.
In 2010, the Rough Guide to Accessible Britain Awards, recognised best practice in providing accessible, inspirational and inclusive visitor attractions across the UK.
Are you eligible?
If you receive either the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance or the War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (currently around £50 a week), you can exchange it for a brand new car, scooter or powered wheelchair through Motability.
